COVID-19 Principal update Friday 10 September
M膩l艒 e lelei
I hope you have all enjoyed Tongan language week and are looking forward to the weekend ahead, including hearing from the PM next Monday about what is happening with Alert Levels in the Auckland region. A reminder that in the meantime we do remain at Alert Level 4 and so will be continuing with our distance learning programme. A sincere thanks from the staff and myself to all parents and caregivers for your support of your children who are at home learning – we know this is not easy with managing your own jobs and households but do thank you for your ongoing support.
Alert Level 3
We are also continuing to make plans for when the Prime Minister does announce a move to Alert Level 3.
If you have a child in your bubble who is in year 9 and 10 who has no adult at home for supervision (e.g. because all adults in the home are essential workers) then they are able to be supervised at school from 9 am to 3 pm at this level. If you are in this situation, please email [email protected] to book your child in for supervision. We will be back in touch with registered students once Alert Level 3 is announced.
Engagement Update – how to access
As mentioned previously from Monday you will be able to access an Engagement Update to see how you / your child is engaging with their learning during this lockdown.

Practical Support for Families
We know that many families across Auckland are feeling the complicated effects of this lockdown. KidsCan have contacted us to say that they are able to deliver a one-off food parcel to AV头条 families who may need it. If your wh膩nau would benefit from a food parcel please contact our Deputy Principal, Rachel McCarten on [email protected] by midday today, and she will collect the necessary information from you (we just need a confirmed delivery address and contact details). All requests and contact details will be kept confidential. Parcels will be delivered next week.
If you require other support at this time please visit the links below for guidance.
